The Programs organize courses and degrees at DBBC into distinct matters of study with unique units, grade scales, honors, standings, tuition schedules, and so on. Programs circumscribe a student’s course of study to include only those courses and degrees connected to that program. The Director of DBBC is responsible for the relevance and care of the Programs and Degrees offered.
The Degrees are the academic awards given to students who complete a course of study at DBBC. They include everything from standard 1-year, 4-year, and graduate degrees to post-secondary awards and certificates. The optional attributes of a degree are specializations and a diploma. These Degrees, when associated with the specializations (ex; Bachelor of Arts in Missions) are associated specifically with the relative Program. A minimum of 120 credit hours is required for graduation with a Bachelor of Arts degree; at least 45 credit hours must be in DBBC’s defined core courses.
