This course provides the student with a detailed study of Romans, starting with the history behind the letter, and continuing through a chapter-by-chapter review and discussion. In this epistle, the Apostle Paul provides an exhaustive treatment to such doctrines as sin, salvation, man’s lost and helpless condition, redemption, justification, sanctification, regeneration, glorification and the efficacy of Jesus Christ’s atoning death. In completing this course, the student is better equipped with the knowledge to properly defend the doctrines discussed in Romans and with the ability to rightly divide the arguments and positions presented in Romans.
