There are ten basic biblical doctrines, found in the Word of God, essential for understanding the Christian faith. These include: Bibliology (nature, character, and authority of the Bible), Theology (nature of God and religious belief), Christology, Pneumatology (Holy Spirit), Hamartiology (sin), Anthropology (man and universe), Soteriology (salvation), Ecclesiology (church), Angelology (Angels), and Eschatology (immortality, resurrection, soul, end of time). In this course, you will study an overall structure for the Bible and an overview of the doctrines. You will also study in detail the first two doctrines (Bibliology & Theology). Through study of these doctrines this course equips you with the knowledge of these doctrines and trains you to skillfully use this knowledge in contending for the faith. For some individuals, and in some college degrees, Bible Doctrines 1 is sufficient. For the student desiring an in-depth study of the remaining 8 doctrines, Bible Doctrines 2 and 3 cover four doctrines each in greater detail.
