Explanation of Fees

Tuition and Fees

Application Fee: A fee of $50.00 must accompany each application for admission. No refund will be granted for any reason. Normally, a student that takes classes continuously during each semester only needs to apply once during their college career. Students who come into situations where they may occasionally miss a semester, must make arrangements with DBBC, to maintain an active application and avoid having to re-apply.

Technology Fee: There is a charge of $75.00 per semester to cover costs of the student application system, and other computing systems DBBC provides for the scholastic atmosphere of the college and classes.

Registration Fee: There is a charge of $75.00 per semester, each time a student registers for classes. This fee is waived for the second semester of the school year, for students completing the first semester.

Late Registration Fee: A fee of $50.00 is charged to students who do not complete the registration process and pay on the scheduled registration date.

Tuition for full-time students: The $1,700.00 tuition per semester allows the student to register for twelve hours or more.

Tuition for part-time students: students taking eleven hours or fewer per semester are charged at the rate of $150.00 per hour for credit.

Auditing of Classes: Approved students may audit classes at the rate of $100.00 per credit hour. Audit students are not allowed to take midterm exams or finals.

Graduation Fee: A fee of $200.00 will be charged to every graduating senior. This fee covers cap, gown, hood and diploma.

Books And Class Fees: The cost of books, supplies, and class fees varies, depending upon the course of study, number of hours, etc. The cost may range from $50.00 to $150.00 per semester.
