Application Process

FIRST TIME STUDENTS

Admissions Process Overview

Thank you for considering Desert Baptist Bible College, as your choice for higher education. Upon completing and submitting the “Application for Admission” form, you will be contacted by our Admissions Officer, who will answer your questions and guide you through our admissions process.

As you have chosen to apply to DBBC, it is important to note that we are a college ministry of Desert Gateway Baptist Church (DGBC). As such, we comply with the doctrine and faith positions of DGBC and strive to honour our Saviour, Jesus Christ, in all we do through this college. We have various degrees, such as our Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Theology, where we uphold the biblical qualifications of a Pastor for any student wishing to enter that course of study (1 Timothy 3:1-7). Your Admissions Officer is prepared to discuss such requirements with you.

The standards of scholarship and Christian faith at DBBC require a review of every applicant. For us to perform this review, you must fill out completely the “Application for Admission” form, meet with your Admissions Officer, and then complete the application packet as described below. Once we complete the review process, we will contact you regarding application acceptance.

You may apply at any time, after the beginning of your junior year of high school. College courses may be taken during your junior or senior year of high school but require additional permission from your High School Principal or Home School director.
