There is more evidence for the Bible’s authenticity than for any literature of antiquity. Textual analysis is a never-ending process, with significant archaeological findings continually validating the authenticity of the Bible. Yet, with all of this effort and findings, we seem to be heading into greater confusion as to how and if God truly preserved His Word. In this course, you receive a comprehensive study in Bible Introduction, tracing the history of the Bible from God to man, then from God’s revelation of His eternal Word to the Authorized King James Version. You will look at the English Bible, first from a doctrinal position of the basis for believing we have the pure Word of God today. Secondarily, you will look at the historical and critical aspects of the manuscript evidence for the KJV English Bible. In completing this course, you will have a far better understanding of the manuscript evidence and ability to articulate the various arguments for defending the preserved Word of God.
